Regional Sales Manager
Position:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the execution of direct sales and sales operation functions within the target geography. The Regional Manager is responsible for meeting annual sales goals, account product training, in-servicing, customer service, and providing support to Clinical Specialists.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a regional sales plan, owning all targets, quotas, and KPIs.
Build and maintain relationships with customers, key opinion leaders, and decision-makers across your territory.
Travels in assigned geography as needed and calls on existing and prospective customers and communicates with customers face-to-face, by phone, and via email on a consistent basis and in-line with established call plans and KPIs.
Coordinate with Clinical Specialists to ensure the product evaluation programs and clinical education of accounts run smoothly and actively supports the execution of a robust Clinical & Health-Economic Evidence Program.
Assist marketing by attending industry trade shows and scientific meetings as needed.
Provide market intelligence to support pricing, messaging, and competitive strategy.
Manage pricing, discounts, and contract/tender strategy in line with company guidelines.
Track and report on sales performance, forecasts, and territory activity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (in Business, Nursing, Marketing) or other business-related field or 3-5 years related selling experience in the field of vascular access.
Proven success in selling medical devices and in particular, vascular access products.
Someone who isn’t afraid to push the boundaries of a project scope to develop new ideas and creative ways/more effective ways to create sales.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Ability to multi-task and work on various projects in a short period of time.
Excellent technical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google G Suite, etc.
Ability to quickly learn new digital platforms and utilize digital applications to make work more efficient.
Exceptional written and oral communication ability.
Excellent work ethic; ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
Be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
